Moving away from his more abstract style North Norfolk artist Trevor Woods has returned to painting the local scenes so popular with fans of his work. The change has been a great success as indicated by the number of sales that had been made when I visited Gallery Plus at Wells. Trevor is to continue to depict the beauty of the North Norfolk coast but intends to add to his portfolio by painting London and Venetian cityscapes.
Some of the new paintings are now available as limited-edition prints. They can be purchased at the gallery or online via the Gallery Plus website.
Trevor and his wife Jo are currently setting out the gallery for the summer exhibition that will feature original paintings, jewellery, sculpture, beautiful glassware and ceramics. The Murano glass jewellery by Marina e Susanna Sent always attracts attention as does the work of Suffolk based artist Paul Evans. Also look out for the distinctive linocuts by H J Jackson and etchings by Graham Clarke.
Gallery Plus is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 am to 4 pm plus Monday openings during July and August.
