Spend a day at the National Trust’s Felbrigg Park in North Norfolk. It makes for a very rewarding day out. The walled garden is exceptional and there is very good walking in the Great Wood and by the lake. All the usual National Trust facilities are available at Felbrigg Hall.
There are some lovely bluebell woods in north Norfolk. Visit in late spring when the flowers are in full bloom to experience their magic.
It looks as though the Norfolk Wildlife Trust will be able to acquire an extra 143 acres of land between Salthouse and Cley comprised of grazing marshes, ponds and reedbeds.
There is to be an exhibition at Blakeney during August to celebrate the acquisition of Blakeney Point by the National Trust.
Throughout July and August a series of paintings by the Cromer based artist Lizzie Riches are displayed in the Long Gallery at Blickling Hall near Aylsham. These paintings form the basis of a treasure hunt devised by Colin Rawlings of the Red Dot Gallery in Holt.
Scolt Head Island is a National Nature Reserve forming a part of the North Norfolk Heritage Coast.
