Norfolk’s Local Produce Promoted in Co-op Stores

green-logo Co-op stores in the East of England are running a Locally Sourced Fortnight from the 1st to the 14th of June. By promoting locally produced food the Co-op will make our meals more enjoyable and wholesome, while also helping the local economy.

During the fortnight the Co-op will be launching some new products and making it easier for customers to find local produce more easily in the stores. A serious of ads will be appearing on our TV screens to promote the initiative.

Here is a taster from the Co-op: “So whether it’s a sweeter honey for your morning toast, riper, juicier tomatoes for your salad or locally smoked bacon for your weekend breakfast barbecue, pop something local in your basket today when you pop to the Co-op…”

I am enthusiastic about anything that helps the local economy in North Norfolk, so well done the Co-op.
