Trevor Woods’ major one-man exhibition titled ‘Boats’, is at Gallery Plus at Warham Road, in Wells, commencing Saturday 11th August.

Trevor is a Norfolk artist with a painting style that is very much his own.  His pictures make a refreshing change from the watercolour landscapes (nothing wrong with those of course) that are ubiquitous in the galleries of North Norfolk. He has created 30 new paintings since he decided on the concept of the exhibition at the end of 2011.  They were, ‘inspired by the shapes and colours of the many boating activities around Norfolk.’  If you know Norfolk quite well the locations will be familiar to you.  Local boats of all types are featured.

On the exhibition opening day the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The normal opening times throughout the summer are: Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The last day of the exhibition is Sunday 26th August.
